Tiffany Taylor joined the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association staff in March of 2022 as the Manager of Communications and Marketing. In her current role, Taylor oversees publicity efforts, content management and membership communications among other duties.

Previously, Taylor served as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications and Operations at McMurry University from January 2021 to March 2022. In her role, Taylor assisted in the publicity efforts and game day operations of McMurry's 21 intercollegiate athletics programs.

In addition to her sports information roles, Taylor spearheads many of the department's digital projects, including video content, graphic creation, green screen photo shoots and other similar projects. In her first season with McMurry, the War Hawks' Athletic Communications staff won the 2020-21 American Southwest Conference Sports Information Department of the Year award.

Prior to McMurry, Taylor served as the Strategic Communications Intern for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference for one year. She assisted in maintaining the conference's website, selecting athletes of the week, managing the conference's social media accounts and more. Participating on the Division II level, the PSAC is the NCAA’s second largest DII conference with 18 full-time members, all located within the Commonwealth. The league services over 7,000 student-athletes and sponsors championships in 23 sports.

Taylor earned her Bachelors in Mass Communications with a minor in English from Savannah State University in May of 2013. She earned a five-year athletic scholarship as a member of the Lady Tiger Softball Team. During the duration of her playing career, she earned a MEAC Championship in 2012, 2x CO-MVP Honors, and was selected as an All-Defensive Team Member in 2011. Upon graduating from SSU, Taylor worked as an Assistant Softball Coach at Sol C. Johnson High in Savannah, GA where she also conducted personal training sessions and worked full-time in the automotive industry as an Assistant Branch Manager of Hertz Rental Car.

Taylor successfully moved up the chain of command in the Automotive Industry where she soon became a Service Manager for a leading Tire Industry in Savannah, GA. Taylor held the position of Service Manager for three years before making the shift back into college athletics.

Transitioning out of the automotive industry, Taylor began her pursuit of a Masters in Sports Management in October 2017. With an extensive history in collegiate athletics, sports communications, marketing and event planning, Taylor was excited to enter back into the world of collegiate sports in hopes of becoming a future Sports Information Director.

“As a 2020 Emerging Leader Participant, I had the opportunity to develop and mature within my decision making, learning the importance of always making “Value Based Decisions.” These teachings motivated me to move forward with confidence that my career in collegiate athletics has been a decision based on passion and desire to see students succeed. I would like to continue forging that path at a university or athletic conference that will allow me to utilize the skills and knowledge for which I have obtained and grow within the industry.” – Tiffany Taylor
